Cheerful Back, Ridwan Kamil Runs Marathon With Daniel Mananta And Najwa Shihab

JAKARTA - As he said, Governor Ridwan Kamil doesn't want to be saddened by the loss of his first son, Eril Muntaz. While participating in a marathon in Bandung, West Java, Kang Emil seemed enthusiastic about running with Najwa Shihab, Agus Prayogo, Daniel Mananta, Alya Rohali, Sahila Hisyam, Soraya Larasati, Melanie Putria, and Zee Zee Shahab.

They ran in the Pocari Sweet Run Indonesia 2022 event with a total participation of nearly 20,000 runners spread from Sabang to Merauke. Today, Ridwan Kamil, Puspita Winawati, and Najwa Shihab were also present at the press conference hosted by Melanie Putria.

“This is the 9th annual running event, the number of runners is always increasing. This year, there were around 5,000 participants and 13,601 participants spread across 311 cities throughout Indonesia. Of course, we always consistently echo the #saferunning campaign every year because the safety of the runners is the main thing," said Puspita Winawati (Wina) as Marketing Director of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka in a release received by VOI, Sunday, July 24.

“I really support activities with a larger offline scale than last year. Of course, this activity will have a good impact on the economy in West Java, especially in the city of Bandung. Hopefully we can continue to create new standards for sporting events in Indonesia," he hoped.

This activity is also aimed at educating runners to choose waste. The total target of 600 kg of waste will be sorted and recycled in Bandung.

“Today I ran 10km and I witnessed the runners being asked to sort out the garbage from before the start to the finish. We from Narasi are also very supportive of this kind of movement. I hope that this environmental care movement can contribute to bringing about change and runners can inspire the people around them,” added Najwa Shihab.

Also participating in this event were Sandiaga Uno (Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia) Ganjar Pranowo (Governor of Central Java), Yana Mulyana (Mayor of Bandung), Sahrul Gunawan (Vice Regent of Bandung), Bima Arya (Mayor of Bogor).
