BTS And Stray Kids Sabet MTV EMA 2020 Awards

JAKARTA - The 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) awards ceremony was held on Sunday, November 8. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, award shows are broadcast from various countries instead of the usual ceremonial events.

This time, there are two K-pop groups that have won the trophy at the MTV EMA 2020 event.

BTS, Big Hit Entertainment's group won four awards out of five nominations this year. Some of them are Best Song, Best Group, Best Virtual Live, and Best Fans.

Thanks to the song Dynamite, BTS won an award from MTV EMA 2020. This is not the first time for BTS to win an award from MTV EMA.

Apart from their online concert, BANG BANG CON won the Best Virtual Live award. With an attractive stage setting and interaction with fans, this virtual concert looks like a physical concert.

Besides that, JYP Entertainment's Stray Kids group won the Best Korean Act award defeating ASTRO, EVERGLOW, KARD, and VICTON.

This year has been a shining year for Stray Kids. Successfully releasing God's Menu, they stole the attention of music lovers with the song Back Door. Starting from album sales to the total viewership of their YouTube videos, they have also increased rapidly.

On the other hand, BTS will make a comeback with an album titled BE and one of its members, Suga, is confirmed not to be participating in the promotional series. Stray Kids will be holding an online concert titled UNLOCK: GO LIVE IN LIFE on November 22.
