JAKARTA - The Blue Dragon awards show will expand to other formats. Previously, Blue Dragon was known as a prestigious award for South Korean films.

This year, the Blue Dragon Series Awards will be held for the first time. This award is intended specifically for Korean dramas or variety shows that are released on a streaming basis.

A series of drama and variety titles were nominated for streaming, namely Netflix, Disney+, seezn, Apple TV+, WATCHA, wavve, Kakao TV, Coupang Play, and TVING.

The culmination of the event will be held on July 19, 2022 at 19.00 South Korean time in Paradise City.
