Failed Mediation, Dewi Perssik Afraid Of A Bad Image Due To Divorce Three Times

JAKARTA - Dewi Perssik and Angga Wijaya failed to mediate. The divorce trial proposed by Angga will continue until the divorce process. According to Angga Wijaya, he and Dewi Persik still want a divorce.

"Mediation failed. It is still the decision to continue the lawsuit," said Angga after the trial at the South Jakarta PA, Monday, July 4.

Angga Wijaya filed a divorce application against Dewi Perssik to the South Jakarta Religious Court on June 20, 2022. Angga listed differences in principle as the reason for the divorce.

Dewi Perssik initially still wanted to maintain the marriage. Before entering the trial, he wanted to reconcile 100%.

"Who wants a divorce? The image is so bad, I've been sued three times. But this is God's scenario that I can't change," said Dewi.

"I said who wants a divorce? I want it to be safe. I've always been sued. If you want to continue, come on, but if you don't find the point, what can you do," continued Dewi.

However, that wish seems difficult to be realized because the mediation failed. Although the mediation was declared a failure, Dewi Perssik's attorney, Sandy Arifin, said that his client kept the door open to peace with Angga outside the court agenda.

"This time's agenda has been declared unsuccessful. If the plaintiff submits a request for mediation outside the court, yes, in principle, as Ms Dewi's attorney, we are ready," Sandy said after the trial.
