JAKARTA - The film Ranah 3 Warna will be shown in theaters starting June 30, 2022. The film directed by Guntur Soeharjanto has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Film Ranah 3 Warna will finally be released on June 30, 2022. This film can be a choice for public viewing with a very slick and quality story," said MNC Pictures President Director Titan Hermawan in a press release, Monday, June 13.

Titan said, Realm of 3 Colors, starring Arbani Yasiz, Amanda Rawles and Teuku Rassya, tells the story of a young boy named Alif Fikri who has big dreams and strong determination but is always confronted with all odds.

Alif Fikri's struggle in reaching his goal of continuing his education abroad was not easy. The young pesantren graduate must face various challenges to become like his idol, Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie alias BJ Habibie.

However, Alif never forgets the key to facing the challenge of limiting his patience, namely prayer and the spirit of man shabara zhafira which means whoever is patient, he will be lucky.

Indirectly, the film Ranah 3 Warna is a reflection of the anxiety experienced by Gen Z and Millennials in their quarter century of life or what is often called a quarter life crisis.

The film, which was adapted from the best-selling novel by Ahmad Fuadi, was chosen as the opening act for Jakarta Film Week 2021. Apart from having educational value, the film also seeks to promote Minang culture.
