JAKARTA - Jungkook gave fans a self-made solo song. This song was released today, Monday, June 13 at midnight to coincide with BTS's 9th anniversary celebration.

This song was also released at the same time as the opening of BTS Festa, an annual event celebrating BTS's debut which is held online and offline. My You was made by Jungkook with Hiss Noise.

Jungkook also shared writings for his fans called ARMY. He shared the inspiration for writing the lyrics for the song My You.

“When I think of you guys, there's a feeling inside of me that often makes me think, “What if all this disappeared? Or what if this is a dream?” Jungkook wrote.

"I wrote this song based on that opinion and I was worried the song might sound depressing so I tried to fill the lyrics with beautiful words," he continued.

The youngest member of BTS hopes that fans who hear this song can feel the power of Jungkook.

"I'm always grateful to ARMY and let's make even better memories in the future. My ARMY, I love you guys!” close Jungkook.

This is not the first time Jungkook has released a self-composed song. Previously he had composed the songs Still With You (2020), I'm In Love (2016), and Like A Star (2013).
