Lee Min Ho Confirms To Join Apple TV Series, Pachinko

JAKARTA - Apple TV streaming service announced Friday, October 23, a number of names who joined in their latest series, Pachinko. One of them is Lee Min Ho.

Pachinko is a series adapted from Lee Min Jin's novel of the same name. This series tells the story of four generations of Korean immigrant families. Later the story will begin with forbidden love and become a battle between Korea, Japan and America.

Therefore, the series will be available in Korean, Japanese, and English.

Lee Min Ho plays Hansu, a merchant who has ties to a criminal organization and is involved in forbidden love. Then there is Jin Ha who plays Solomon, a man who is forced to meet his family's past.

Then, Anna Sawai will play the character Naomi, a career woman who lives in male domination. In addition there are Kim Minha, Soji Arai, and Kaho Minami.

Pachinko is written and produced by Soo Hugh while Kogonada and Justin Chon will sit on the directorial bench.

This series is Lee Min Ho's latest project after starring in the Korean drama The King: Eternal Monarch in the same year. This is his first international project.

Lee Min Ho's success as a hallyu star made Pachinko a project that fans have been waiting for. Pachinko will start production on October 26 by implementing health protocols given the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing.
