Jojo Thank You For Appearing In Jakarta For The First Time Through The 2022 Java Jazz Festival

JAKARTA - Singer Jojo became the headliner on the first day of the 2022 Java Jazz Festival. He greeted fans by singing a number of his hit songs.

Jojo started his performance with What U Need which he released in 2020. He explained that his arrival was the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic took place.

In that moment, Jojo also gave a special tribute to the victims of the shooting at a school in Texas. The incident killed 19 children and two adults.

"I want to pay tribute to the 21 innocent lives that were brutally taken in Ulvade, Texas," Jojo said on Friday, May 27.

In addition, Jojo also sang several songs such as Baby It's You, Say Love, Sabotage, and Say So.

"We spread love. Tell people how much we love them. I'm lucky to be here," he said.

Jojo also sang his hit song, Too Little Too Late, which made the audience sing along on the special show stage.

Shortly after performing, Jojo wrote thank you for having the opportunity to perform in Jakarta for the first time. He also advised everyone to take care of themselves in the midst of this difficult situation.

“It means a lot to me to be able to perform in Indonesia for the first time. Whenever I have the opportunity to sing in another country, I am happy,” said Jojo.

“Seeing the power of music connecting people from all over the world was the best thing in my life,” he said.
