Unique, Metal Humiliation Band Reforms Lifeless Harmony In Swing Jazz

JAKARTA - The metal troop from Bandung, Humiliation, refuses to give up on the situation. Even though the COVID-19 pandemic is still attacking, they continue to be productive in their work.

After releasing a live session video titled Silenced Carnival on their YouTube channel last August, this time Humiliation released a music video for the song Harmoni Tanpa Nyawa which was released on Thursday, October 8 yesterday.

This song, which was taken from the album Carnival Genocide (2018), is the result of collaboration with Yuka Tamada, a female singer who graduated from the talent search arena who has a distinctive voice and character.

"We are trying to do a cross genre collaboration that is out of the box from the music we are used to," Humiliation said in an official statement received by the editorial desk, Tuesday, October 20.

In terms of the lyrics, this song has the meaning of a harmony between an action that humans take with the rewards they will get later.

This song is presented with a depressive and dark tone so that it is able to bring the listener to reflect more that any bad behavior that is done will be rewarded.

The music video version of Harmoni Tanpa Hidup is packaged in a different arrangement from the version in the Carnival Genocide album. Yes, the unique thing is, this time it is packaged in elements of swing jazz music but still maintains a dark impression.
