SEVENTEEN Presents Adult Side In HOT Lagu Song

JAKARTA - SEVENTEEN released their latest album, Face the Sun with the main track entitled HOT on Friday, 27 May. This latest work marks the celebration of their debut, as well as a gift for fans.

HOT is a hip hop track with uplifting lyrics to go through the everyday steps. SEVENTEEN also presented an iconic whistle adding to the excitement of this song written by Woozi.

The album Face the Sun is a new work after SEVENTEEN renewed the contract with Pledis Entertainment. Therefore, the members are very enthusiastic about this promotion.

“This means a lot to us after renewing the contract with the agency. Vernon also wrote on WeVerse that we had four albums and that was very satisfying," Scoups said at a global press conference on Friday, May 27.

“This song is about expression and ambition to be something that explodes. We also put other messages in the album such as wishing for a new world," said Mingyu.

Different from previous releases, HOT showcases the mature side of SEVENTEEN. They use dark colors in music videos and costumes.

"Actually, we are not so worried when the public sees us with a cheerful side. Many know us from the song VERY NICE. For this album, we don't want to be seen as usual," explained Seungkwan.

“We wanted to express our concern and show ambition. So we took the challenge visually and musically to present ourselves,” he said.
