RAN Closes The Celebration Of The First Day Of The 2022 Java Jazz Festival

JAKARTA - RAN performed to close the first day of the 2022 Java Jazz Festival. The group consisting of Rayi, Asta, and Nino greeted the audience who had been waiting for their stage action at 22:15.

Their performance began with Nothing Lasts Forever which was taken from their debut album in 2008. On that occasion, they also reminisced about their first time performing at Java Jazz.

“It was 2007 and we didn't have an album yet. We auditioned (to perform at Java Jazz) and we passed and waited for the schedule," Nino told the audience.

"Asta likes to check it. Finally, you know that RAN plays at 3. You know that Java Jazz starts at 5?" he explained relaxed.

RAN thought that they would perform at Java Jazz but in fact they appeared on stage before the festival performance.

"We performed there. But it turns out that Java Jazz is not in the Java Jazz. Then we thought that after the gig we could watch other artists, we were kicked out by security guards," he said.

During his performance, RAN performed a number of hit songs such as Good Morning, Only For You, First Attention, I Do All For You, Just Like That, Ratu Bee, and many others.

Besides RAN, a number of local and international musicians also participated in the first day of Java Jazz 2022. Starting from Maliq n' D'Essentials, Andmesh Kamaleng, Erwin Gutawa, Andien, Keyon Harrold, Jakob Ogawa, and others.

Meanwhile, the Java Jazz Festival 2022 will continue on the second day on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29, 2022 at JI EXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta.
