JAKARTA - Former AC / DC band bassist Paul Matters has reportedly passed away. This news was shared by a relative named Rod Wescombe via his Facebook account on Wednesday, October 14.

“Shocked and saddened by the death of Paul Matters. "I first met Paul in 1973 when he was playing bass (with the band) Armageddon on a stage in Hamilton, Newcastle," said Wescombe.

Rod Wescombe tells Matters life after leaving AC / DC. "I moved to Sunshine on the river and Paul would come to relax when he was around," he said further.

“I remember he always made me laugh when he was in a good mood . After leaving New South Wales, I broke contact with him like everyone else for years. "

Paul Matters started his career with Armageddon then left in 1974. Later, he joined AC / DC to perform on tour in Melbourne following the release of the album High Voltage .

Only one year later, Matters left AC / DC in 1975. He is also reportedly out of the world of music and living his daily life.
