JAKARTA - Tompi has released a music video for his new song, Makan Teman. which can be a reminder for many people not to be selfish when living a life of friendship with other people.

"Friends, in my opinion, must be present in various situations. You don't have to be happy," said Tompi, quoted from ANTARA, Wednesday, April 6.

"I made this song to remind you that in life, we definitely need other people and vice versa. So, in friendship, there should be no calculation because the capital is sincere and willing," he continued.

Made with an artistic and colorful concept, the music video for "Makan Teman" was produced by Diar Astika as director and editor, and Riyan Kunst as DOP.

The music video for "Eat Friends" features a dance depicting the feeling of a human being betrayed by his friends. Masks in the music video are also used to describe these human feelings.

There is also a scene where the dancer is carving his own statue. This illustrates that only he has a role to determine his own feelings. In addition, there is also a scene where the dancer is depicted in an empty and dark theater to illustrate the downturn.

"I think this song can be an alternative and can be listened to while contemplating and remembering the good times with past friends. Or at the same time as a reminder to contact friends we haven't contacted for a long time," said Tompi.
