Jefri Nichol Has To Do Something Before Getting Intimate With Wulan Guritno In The Film Jakarta Vs Everybody

JAKARTA - Wulan Guritno and Jefri Nichol compete for Ertanto Robby Soediskam's latest film, Jakarta vs Everybody. Both are told to do intimate scenes in the film.

Having a huge age gap, Wulan Guritno professionally accepted the demands. But he also has a condition for Jefri Nichol when shooting intimate scenes in the film.

"For me, the comfort must smell good. So before doing that we all take a shower. We have to take a shower first," said Wulan Guritno at a press conference.

"What do they want, I'm comfortable, but I take a shower first. If I'm not mistaken, Mbak Wulan was in the morning, so it was really fresh," answered Jefri Nichol.

According to Wulan Guritno, an actor must have a sense of comfort so that the audience can believe in the scene being shown.

"Intimate scenes can't look believable if we're not comfortable," explained Wulan.

In addition, Wulan Guritno was also challenged to act as a drug dealer. Inexperienced, he did his research by talking to former dealers.

“The social reality genre is depicted as realistically as it is from the corner of the city of Jakarta, especially drug dealing. How do they package distribution, operations, it's interesting,” said Wulan Guritno.

“Actually, everything was challenging for me in terms of time, it was 10 days so it drained everything, not only physically but mentally. We also approach Nichol and (Ganindra) Bimo. Until now we have closeness like brothers," he explained.

Jakarta vs Everybody tells of Dom (Jefri Nichol) who migrated to Jakarta to become an actor. He meets Pingkan (Wulan Guritno) and Radit (Ganindra Bimo) who lead him to the dark side of the capital. This film can be watched through the Online Cinema platform.
