JAKARTA - Singer Raisa Andriana has released her latest album, It's Personal. This album is a complete presentation after releasing several singles and an EP in 2021.

Contains 11 songs, Raisa presents something new from herself. He felt that the album It's Personal was his most open personal work compared to his previous albums.

"I think that since Handmade to It's Personal, many things have happened in each of our lives. With my secure life, I don't need to be afraid to talk about personal matters," Raisa said in Jakarta on Thursday, March 17.

It's Personal is also Raisa's return to music after becoming a mother. Therefore, the songs made in this album are focused on love and family.

"I feel more secure, this is my first time writing an album as a mom. There are many lyrics that must be immortalized," Raisa continued.

"Inspired by the form of love for children and family. I am very close to family, so this form of love turns out to be like this and this is a prayer so that I am always surrounded by this form of love," explained Raisa.

Among the songs, there is Simple Love, which is the main single accompanying this album. Raisa was also assisted by Marco Steffiano, Jessi Mates, and Adrian Rahmat Purwanto to work on the entire album.

"The lyrics are very simple, intentional. I deliberately chose simple language so that the song is not too poetic. I made it as simple as possible," Raisa replied.

"I let (Raisa create) but I leave a message, please leave a message for a song that can connect with everyone," added Adryanto, CEO of Juni Records.

Made during the pandemic, Raisa admits that she is learning more about love and music. He also realized the pandemic made him connect with producers from other countries.

"Because of the pandemic, we have opened up how borderless this world and the music world are, so we can reach out to outside producers. That is the positive thing about working on an album in the midst of a pandemic," Raisa replied.

Among the 11 songs, two songs are a collaboration, namely You Better Believe Me with Kara Chenoa and Someday with Sam Kim.

Raisa's new album, It's Personal can be heard physically and digitally starting Thursday, March 17th.
