Booster Vaccine Not Maximum, Krisdayanti PCR-Antigen Test Abolished Completely

JAKARTA - The government has removed the PCR or Antigen test requirements for domestic travel, either by air, sea, and land completely for those who have had two COVID-19 vaccines. The policy of the National COVID-19 Task Force was received positively by the community. However, member of Commission IX DPR RI, Krisdayanti actually did not agree.

“I personally don't agree if there is no swab or antigen at all. Because the booster vaccine is not yet complete. Even those who have been boosted, can still get Covid and infect other individuals," said Krisdayanti when contacted via text message, Thursday, March 10.

This politician from the PDI-P faction considered that the policy should be relaxed for both air and land travel using public transportation only when the booster vaccination has reached a minimum of 90 percent.

Regarding the low public interest in booster vaccines, this politician from the constituency of East Java V suspects that this is due to the people's desire to choose the best vaccine, according to them. Whereas BPOM (food and drug regulatory agency) has issued an emergency use permit or EUA (Emergency use Authorization) where all vaccines are declared good.

“The public's demand for booster vaccines is still low. I see many people who choose the best type of vaccine according to them. Even though BPOM has stated that all vaccines are good," said KD.

According to Krisdayanti, many people choose vaccines because not all vaccines used in Indonesia can be used to support international travel.
