Peacemaker is a superhero from DC which tells the story of Christopher Smith (John Cena) who is willing to make peace by any means, including killing. At the end of the first season, Smith makes peace with his racist father, Augie (Robert Patrick).
James Gunn had revealed that there were plans to develop the Peacemaker story as well as other Suicide Squad spin-offs.
“We're working on another one, that universe-connected television show. I can't say much," said Gunn.
James Gunn wrote all eight episodes of the Peacemaker series and directed all five episodes. He is ready to continue the story even though he is reluctant to say when the second season will be released.
