JAKARTA - The plan to relocate Vanessa Angel's grave, by her father Doddy Sudrajat, turned out to be causing turmoil in the community. Barisan Ksatria Nusantara (BKN), even held a demonstration against the plan today at the TPU Taman Islam Malaka, South Jakarta.

Around 30 people took part in the protest against the transfer of the tomb by unfurling banners made of cardboard. We reject the demolition of graves, moving graves is an inhumane act, are some of the words on the banners.

"According to all of us, the demolition of this tomb is no longer a private matter, but has become public consumption because it had gone viral. Therefore, we reject the plan to demolish the tomb that will be carried out by brother Doddy Sudrajat," said Ahmad Qais, the head of the BKN action coordinator, quoted from Paragram Official YouTube Channel

"When we talk about dismantling the tomb, it has to do with the bodies in it. From a religious point of view, we have to take care of the bodies of the dead. Even when we bathe, we have to take it slow. Especially when it comes to the grave. , then suddenly want to be moved again, it hurts a lot," he added.

Ahmad also explained that Doddy's reason for moving the tomb was considered unclear. In the future, he will continue to guard Vanessa's grave so that the transfer plan is finally canceled.

"The transfer of the tomb must be for a clear reason. For example, for forensic needs or there is a natural disaster. We will continue to monitor it until Mr. Doddy does not dismantle Vanessa Angel's grave," he concluded.

As is known, Doddy plans to move Vanessa Angel's grave to the Karet Bivak TPU in Central Jakarta to be combined with his mother's grave. The plan will be realized after the 100-day recitation of Vanessa's death today.
