JAKARTA - Eight months ago, the alleged case of sexual harassment by Gofar Hilman, to a woman with the Twitter account @quweenjojo, caused a stir in the virtual world because it was trending on Twitter and gained the sympathy of netizens. This even made Gofar slump and think again about becoming a content creator.

At that time, the @quweenjojo account tweeted that he was a victim of sexual harassment by Gofar. Instantly, netizens gave full support to him to fight and on the contrary, Gofar actually received negative accusations from the public.

Now, the woman, known as Hafsyarina Sufa Rebowo or familiarly called Syerin, suddenly appears to clarify that her accusations against Gofar eight months ago were not true. He uploaded a short video on his Twitter account while apologizing to Gofar and the Indonesian people.

Syerin, who is accompanied by her parents in the video, also explained that her accusations were only based on delusions and imagination. Plus he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident on August 19, 2018.

"Those are untrue accusations, made based on my delusions and imagination. The incident of harassment actually didn't exist. So Gofar's sexual harassment honestly didn't happen. To be honest, there was some anxiety after I tweeted that and wanted to apologize to Gofar Hilman because it's already done," he said.

When this case emerged, Gofar had time to contemplate for 2 weeks because he wanted to take the case seriously. He emphatically denied the accusations and tried to resolve it in an amicable way. However, attempts to communicate to the victim were never successful.
