Starring Marry Me, Jennifer Lopez Is Challenged To Be A Victim Of Cheating

JAKARTA - Jennifer Lopez will soon be releasing her newest film, Maryy Me. The big screen that carries the romantic comedy genre will have a duet with the talented actor Owen Wilson.

What's interesting is, Jennifer will play Kat Valdez, a pop star whose name is on the rise in the entertainment industry. Of course, the play that he plays is not much different from his daily life so it will not be difficult for him to play.

"This is not a role where I have to research to know what it's like to be a famous music artist. I understand all about it," said Jennifer, quoted by Reuters.

Kat, who has a good career and a handsome boyfriend named Basttian (Maluma), announced that he would get married in front of the global community via streaming. This was done to share happiness with his fans.

But on the eve of her big day, Kat learns that Bastian has been unfaithful and then marries a stranger in the crowd, Charlie, played by Owen Wilson. Of course, it wasn't an easy experience for Kat and for Jennifer Lopez as well.

"The hard thing is showing me what's in my room and when things don't go the way they should, you're heartbroken like this in front of the world and the media rushes at you," Jennifer said.

Marry Me seems to be a reunion project into the romantic comedy genre as Jennifer has successfully done in The Wedding Planner (2001), Maid in Manhattan (2002), and The Back-up Plan (2010).

"I, as a moviegoer, love romantic comedies. It's my favorite film of all time, whether it's When Harry met Sally (1989) or Prelude to a Kiss (1992) or similar films," said Jennifer Lopez.

The film, which became the acting debut of the Maluma singer, will later be screened before Valentine's Day. Apart from Jennifer, Owen, and Maluma, Marry Me also stars John Bradley, Jimmy Fallon, Chloe Coleman, and Sarah Silverman.
