JAKARTA - Coldplay released its latest music video, titled Let Somebody Go, on Monday, February 7, United States time. Directed by Dave Meyers, the music video for Let Somebody Go is in black and white and features Chris Martin and Selena Gomez.
Both try to make sense of the pain left by their loved ones. Chris and Selena tried to reach each other but the endless ladder separated them.
Selena Gomez, who shared the behind-the-scenes process, wrote that she was excited about this first collaboration with Coldplay. He also briefly teased fans by writing the lyrics on Twitter before being released in October 2021.
Let Somebody Go is the latest single from the album Music of the Spheres released in 2021. Coldplay also plans to stop making new music in 2025.
While waiting for the year, Coldplay will be embarking on a Music of the Spheres tour starting from Costa Rica on March 18th.
“I know I can say, our last record will be out in 2025 and after that we just tour. Maybe we'll collaborate but the Coldplay catalog, it's done," said Chris Martin on BBC Radio.
