JAKARTA - One of The Beatles' most iconic concerts on the rooftop of Apple Corps Savile Row which was held on January 30, 1969 was brought back in the format of a film called The Beatles: Get Back–The Rooftop Concert. To fulfill fans' wishes, the 60-minute film will be shown exclusively on IMAX starting February 9.

The Beatles Rooftop concert is part of Peter Jackson's documentary series The Beatles: Get Back which previously aired on Disney+ Hotstar.

Directed by Oscar-winning director Peter Jackson, The Beatles: Get Back, this documentary series is a special offering for Beatles fans where they can watch this legendary concert exclusively on the big screen with IMAX quality picture and sound.

"After the release of the Peter Jackson documentary series, we have heard a lot of requests from fans who want to see this special appearance at IMAX," said IMAX Entertainment President Megan Colligan as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, January 28.

"We are thrilled to be working with Disney to bring 'Get Back' to a new stage and provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Beatles fans to witness and hear their idol perform with IMAX quality picture and sound."

All video and audio have been optimized for IMAX to provide fans with an unforgettable experience. Fans who watched The Beatles: Get Back–The Rooftop Concert at the IMAX theaters also had the opportunity to receive special merchandise in the form of limited edition tickets and landyards.
