Irwansyah Surprised That Polygamy Was Not Banned By Zaskia Sungkar

JAKARTA - Irwansyah was surprised after hearing that Zaskia Sungkar allowed his husband to practice polygamy.

Recently, Irwansyah and Zaskia spoke with Maia Estianty on their YouTube channel. Zaskia said she would allow Irwansyah if he wanted polygamy in the future.

"I can't forbid it. It's just that our readiness is back again, the responsibility is very big," said Zaskia Sungkar.

On the other hand, Zaskia admits that she is not ready if Irwansyah is polygamous, but he is trying to be ready in the future.

"Maybe if the faith is at that level, maybe it's ready. Wallahu a'lam. I pray it's not that I back down. I pray that one day I can really live in that world for the hereafter," he explained.

Instead of feeling happy, Irwansyah was surprised after hearing Zaskia's statement. According to him, although polygamy is allowed, there are sins that must be borne if someone does not act fairly.

"It's okay, it's not forbidden, it's just that after that we are responsible for his wife. If she has a little hurt or there is injustice of all kinds, it's a very big sin," said Irwansyah.

Irwansyah firmly chose not to be polygamous at least for now.

"No, just one is not finished," he said.
