JAKARTA - The official trailer for All of Us Are Dead was released Saturday, January 15. The drama, which airs on Netflix, is about teenagers struggling to escape a zombie apocalypse. The series will premiere worldwide on January 28.

The story is about a group of students who face life-threatening conditions as they try to escape a zombie invasion at their high school.

Trapped inside, without a cell phone or food, the teens struggle to survive as more and more of their comrades fall victim to a mysterious virus.

All of Us Are Dead is adapted from the popular webtoon series Now at Our School by Joo Dong-Geun. The digital comic consists of 130 episodes, originally published between 2009 and 2011.

Netflix itself announced plans for an adaptation of All of Us Are Dead in April 2020. All of Us Are Dead is one of several Korean dramas that will air on Netflix in 2022.

Other series in the coming year include spinoffs Money Heist and Suriname, which show continued interest in Korean dramas on streaming especially after the success of Squid Game in 2021.

The series stars a line-up of well-known actors, including School 2021 actor Cho Yi-Hyun, House Of Hummingbird actress Park Ji-hoo and Doctor John's Yoon Chan-young. Squid Game star Lee Yoo-mi will also appear in an undisclosed role.

All of Us Are Dead was written by Chun Sung-il, while J.Q. Lee and Kim Nam-Su serve as directors. Both JTBC and Netflix will air All of Us Are Dead.
