JAKARTA - German thrash metal veteran, Kreator will release a new album in the summer of 2022. His first single will be arriving in the near future.

The follow-up to Gods Of Violence (2017) was recorded at Hansa Tonstudio in Berlin, Germany with the help of Arthur Rizk, who previously worked with Cavalera Conspiracy, Code Orange, Power Trip, and Soulfly.

"Ok 2021, you're almost history," Creators frontman, Mille Petrozza wrote on her Instagram at the end of 2021 yesterday.

"It's really cool to finally be able to play some shows and record a new album. Overall it's been a killer year and I look forward to seeing you guys live in 2022.

"Album coming in summer, new single SOON! Stay sane and safe and eat your vegetables. HAPPY NEW YEAR! #creators #hate #thrash #über #metal #2022 #alles #hüa".

Early in 2021, Petrozza revealed to the official Italian podcast Metalitalia.com that Creators would wait until the coronavirus pandemic subsided before releasing an album.

"Last year (2020, ed), in August, we felt that we were done (writing songs), and we were really excited, like, 'Okay, it's almost an album. We have 12 songs. And we took 10 best song, or whatever we got.' And we're already planning on getting into the studio in February," he said.

"It's February now, and the world is still a bit chaotic with COVID. So we have to wait and be patient... I think doing the tour, making the artwork, everything has to be connected. So we'll wait until that's possible again, and then we'll put out an album. "

The new album Kreator will mark the band's first album with bassist Frédéric Leclercq, who joined the group in 2019.
