Makmum 2 Becomes The Film With The Most Viewers On The First Day Throughout 2021, Titi Kamal Moves

JAKARTA - Titi Kamal could not hide her happiness when the film Makmun 2 which she starred in was successful in the market. The first day of release, December 30, 2021, the film was watched by 46,815.

This is the highest debut earnings for Indonesian films throughout 2021. This number almost resembles the box office debut figures for Indonesian films in the pre-pandemic period.

Makmum 2 film stars Titi Kamal, Samuel Rizal, and Marcella Zalianty. With this achievement, the main star of Makmum 2, Titi Kamal admitted that she was both happy and grateful. The wife of Christian Sugiono expressed her happiness through uploads on Instagram.

For your information, the shooting process for Makmum 2 produced by Dee Company and Blue Water Films was carried out in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic situation. But it all paid off well.

"Filming in the middle of a pandemic, going through cold temperatures with thin clothes, the weather, it's not easy to play Rini's character, the events she experienced in Suayan Village, a remote village without electricity, were quite difficult for me," explained Titi Kamal.
