JAKARTA - The couple Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid reportedly broke up after dating for two years. A source says that the two are currently taking a break from their relationship.

“Dua and Anwar are taking a break from their relationship and spending time apart,” a source told People on Friday, December 24.

Currently, the two are still trying to mend their relationship amidst unsolved problems. Their representatives also declined to comment on this matter.

Long distance relationship (LDR) was allegedly the reason why they broke up. Now, Dua Lipa is busy working on her new album in London.

Anwar Hadid is still living and managing his brand in New York. Due to this time difference, the two of them had a hard time seeing each other.

Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid first appeared in public in 2019. The two often share their intimate moments through social media. In addition, their relationship has the support of Anwar's mother, Yolanda, where Dua is seen attending several Hadid family events.

Last August, Dua and Anwar also celebrated Dua's birthday. Anwar wrote, “Happy birthday to the girl of my dreams. Love you forever and always," he said.

Dua Lipa also once revealed that her relationship with Anwar was the most comfortable she had ever had.
