JAKARTA - Metal troop from Ujungberung, Bandung, Burgerkill released a mini album entitled Killchestra on CD format. In the album which was previously released in the LP version, a prayer was tucked away for their member who had passed away, Ivan Scumbag.

In this album Burgerkill invites Fadly Padi to read a prayer on the song Tiga Titik Hitam. The song is written by the late Ivan Scumbag.

"We just send prayers through this song so that those who listen to this song can agree. This is Burgerkill's gift for the deceased," said Burgerkill guitarist and leader Ebenz during a virtual press conference, Tuesday, August 18.

Ebenz continued, the idea of making this album happened accidentally. Initially, they just wanted to make a music concert.

The idea continued until it was sparked to release a mini album which was summarized from the first to fourth albums and gave a new taste to Burgerkill.

"The idea is simple, we want to explore new areas and new essences and what's the new sensation of listening to Burgerkill's music. Because it will be exciting and lots of experiences to be explored because what we are playing isn't there yet and we want to get a new taste at Burgerkill. "Ebenz said.

There are six songs included in Killchestra. In addition to the Three Black Dots, there are Earth Dogs, Inner Prison, An Elegy, Only the Strong, and Arrogant. Burgerkill also collaborated with Alvin Witarsa to work on the orchestra.

The recording process which took place in Prague lasted quickly, namely for 3.5 hours. The orchestral music itself is played by 60 musicians.

"Alvin already has an acquaintance in Prague, so we thought it would be quicker to do it. So we decided, let's record there, it turns out that after coming there from Indonesia we only brought scores, it turned out that the process was very fast," said Ebenz.
