Delayed Again, Fast & Furious 10 Will Release May 2023

JAKARTA - The production house Universal announced that the release of Fast & Furious 10 will be delayed a month from the first release date.

Initially, Fast & Furious 10 was slated for release on April 7, 2023 in the middle of the Easter weekend. They hope to follow the success of F7 in 2015 which became a box office after screening in theaters.

Universal delayed the release one month so from April 7 to May 19, 2023. A cast including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and others gathered for the film.

The Fast & Furious franchise is indeed loved by the audience. F9, which aired this year, became the film with the biggest profit to be shown during the pandemic. F9 is directed by Justin Lin who returns after eight years.

Justin Lin is also planned to direct the 10th film which will be divided into two parts. Fast & Furious 10 is referred to as the last chapter of Vin Diesel's journey in accordance with Jakob (John Cena).

Launching Deadline on Wednesday, December 15, Universal is preparing an animated film that will premiere in April to replace Fast & Furious 10.

Fast & Furious 10 will compete with a number of other new films such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and the live-action The Little Mermaid in May.
