Dirly Dave Gained Weight Up To 100 Kilograms For His Role In KNK Movie: Santa Claus From Jakarta

JAKARTA - Dirly Dave is willing to accept the challenge of gaining almost 100 kg in two weeks for a role in the film KNK: Santa Claus from Jakarta. The role was so memorable that she didn't mind being fat.

"At that time, I gained almost 100 kg in weight, yes. 98 if I'm not mistaken. Aji while still eating a lot, right. Finally, in the waiting room any request. So there are no taboos for eating. Keep eating," explained Dirly, quoted from ANTARA, Thursday, December 9th.

Furthermore, Dirly revealed that he was happy to appear in the film "KNK: Santa Claus from Jakarta". He also said that he was increasingly being challenged to hone his acting to be even better.

"I'm really happy because this is my first film. And I was given the opportunity to be able to act, to be able to hone acting here, and also to be able to meet many great players here," said Dirly.

"It's good in the film that we really give a complete feeling to the characters we have. What is certain is that I am more challenged to hone my acting again so that it is better," he continued.

In the film, Dirly Dave plays Daniel, the father of Abel (Deven Christiandi) who migrates to Jakarta and works as Santa Claus. But unfortunately, Daniel actually began to forget his family and seek his own pleasure in Jakarta.

Apart from Deven Christiandi, the film also features Aurelie Moeremans, Anneth Delliecia Nasution, Shinta Naomi, former JKT48, Yurike Prastika, Temon, Melki Bajaj, Bayu Skak, Unang Bagito, Rizky Hanggono and the late Rony Dozer.
