Park Hae Soo Announces Money Heist Korea To Air From 2022

JAKARTA - Netflix announced the first teaser for Money Heist Korea featuring actor Park Hae Soo as Berlin on Tuesday, December 7.

Park Hae Soo is seen taking off his mask and smiling at the camera. "We can't wait to bring you the Korean version of Money Heist in 2022," he begins the video.

Afterwards, he thanked Pedro Alonso for sending him the special mask he wore in the video. This mask is the hallmark of the band of robbers in the Money Heist series.

“When we show it next year, I will give one to Pedro,” said Park Hae Soo. Pedro Alonso is the Berlin character for the original.

He also thanked the audience for the enthusiasm shown for Money Heist Korea. "I hope the Korean version of Money Heist gets your love and support."

Money Heist Korea has 12 episodes directed by Kim Hong Sun. The script will be written by Ryu Yong Jae who has collaborated with Hong Sun for several dramas such as Pied Piper and Liar Game.

Like the original version, Money Heist Korea tells of a group of robbers who go on a heist mission at the biggest bank. This mission is led by the Professor, played by Yoo Ji Tae.

Apart from Park Hae Soo and Yoo Ji Tae, this series also stars Jun Jong Seo (as Tokyo), Lee Won Jong (Moscow), Kim Ji Hoon (Denver), Jang Yoon Ju (Nairobi), Park Jung Woo (Rio), Kim Ji Hun (Helsinki), Lee Kyu Ho (Oslo), and many others.
