Happy New Year Synopsis, The Story Of 14 Characters At Hotel Emrose

JAKARTA - TVING streaming service presents their original film titled Happy New Year. This film will star 12 well-known actors and actresses in South Korea.

Wednesday, December 1st, the first Happy New Year poster and teaser were released. The poster features 12 main characters including Han Ji Min, Lee Dong Wook, Kang Ha Neul, and SNSD's Im Yoon Ah.

Happy New Year is a romantic genre story set in the Emrose Hotel. Check out the synopsis below:

Happy New Year tells the story of So Jin (Han Ji Min), a hotel manager who has had a crush on his friend Seung Hyo (Kim Young Kwang) for 15 years. There is also Young Joo (Go Sung Hee).

Yong Jin (Lee Dong Wook) meets Lee Young (Won Jin Ah), a housekeeper who dreams of becoming a musical actress.

Jae Yong (Kang Ha Neul), a troubled hotel guest, confronts Soo Yeon (Im Yoon Ah), a very hard working hotelier.

In addition, there is Catherine (Lee Hye Yong), a businessman who has just returned to South Korea for his son's wedding to meet Sang Gyu (Jung Jin Young), the doorman of the hotel.

Singer Lee Kang (Seo Kang Joon), an artist who eventually becomes popular, and Sang Hoon (Lee Kwang Soo) Lee Kang's manager whose contract is about to expire.

Jin Ho (Lee Jin Wook), a person who comes to the Emrose Hotel every Saturday to find a partner.

Various stories will be found in the Happy New Year film. The first teaser that was released shows cut scenes for each character that forms the unity of the film.

Happy New Year is directed by Kwak Jae Yong, who directed My Sassy Girl and The Classic. The film was also produced by Hive Media Corp, which produced Inside Men, The Man Standing Next, and Deliver Us from Evil.

The Happy New Year movie will be shown in theaters and TVING this month. Watch the teaser below:
