JAKARTA - The WeTV streaming service presents a new series titled Layangan Putus. This series brings together Reza Rahadian with Putri Marino as a married couple.

True Story Adaptation

The story of the Disconnected Kite is an adaptation of a true story as outlined in the novel by Mommy ASF. Long before the series was made, the story had gone viral on social media first.

Layangan Putus tells of the marriage of Kinan (Putri Marino) and Aris (Reza Rahadian) which changed after Kinan found out that Aris was having an affair with someone. In the middle of her pregnancy, Kinan finds out who is the person who is close to Aris.

Since the main story is about households, it is certain that Kites Break is classified as 17+.

Relative

The producer of the Disconnected Kites series, Manoj Punjabi feels that the Disconnected Kites have an appeal that can be felt by everyone. He even called this series a proud production of MD Pictures.

“The Disconnected Kite is one of MD's proud series. Each character looks stunning, the story is about real life that is relatable and realistic," said Manoj Punjabi in Kuningan, South Jakarta.

Reza Rahadian's New Character

Actor Reza Rahadian has found his new role again. As Aris, he is ready to be hated by the Indonesian audience. "When asked, who do mothers hate? Very ready. Because that's the story. In fact, the more hated it is, the better it means that my acting is successful,” said Reza Rahadian.
