JAKARTA - Not even a month since his mandatory military service, BTOB's Sungjae reportedly received an offer to star in the Korean drama Golden Spoon. Thursday, November 25, Sungjae's agency, Cube Entertainment confirmed the news. "Yook Sungjae is positively reviewing his role in the drama Golden Spoon," he said as reported by SporstsSeoul.

Golden Spoon is a drama adapted from the webtoon of the same name. This drama tells the story of a man whose life changes after he uses a golden spoon to exchange his parents.

This man's life changes drastically and he can have everything he wants but it turns out that there are problems that will be faced once he has the golden spoon.

The drama Golden Spoon is written by Kim Eun Hee and Yoon Eun Kyung who wrote Sweet 18 and Prime Minister and I. Production house Samhwa Networks will work on the drama.

Besides being an idol, Sungjae is also known for his acting through dramas Who Are You, Reply 1994, and Goblin. If he accepted this offer, then Golden Spoon would be his newest project after two years.

Meanwhile, Sungjae has just returned from his mandatory military service as an active duty soldier. The day before, he shared a recent photo and captioned, "D-day." The production of the drama Golden Spoon will begin in 2022.
