3 Days After It Was Released, Adele's Album '30' Become The Best-selling Album In The United States

JAKARTA - Adele's latest work is highly anticipated, as the album 30, which was released on November 19, becomes the best-selling album in the United States for 2021.

According to Billboard reports, this album has sold over 500 thousand copies. This acquisition shifts Evermore from Taylor Swift, which sold 462.000 copies in December 2020.

The album 30 also surpassed the achievement of the album Red (Taylor's Version) from Taylor Swift which sold 369 thousand copies on the weekend of November 18.

Total album sales are determined from physical album sales, total streams, and album units streamed by track. Of the three systems, the album 30 was recorded to have sold 575 thousand copies.

Later, if the album 30 ranks first on the Billboard 200, then Adele officially adds a new record where she is a female singer whose third album is on the Billboard charts.

Adele released her latest album, 30 on Friday, November 19. With the lead single, Easy on Me, she honestly explained that this album contains songs about breaking up with Simon Konecki, her ex-husband.

This album is Adele's way of explaining the breakup to her son, Angelo. On the other hand, she wants 30 to be an expression of his heart and feelings.

“I realized I didn't like who I was before. And I think I'm like any other human being, especially at my age, going through things at different stages," Adele said in an interview with Zane Lowe.

Containing 12 new tracks, Adele's 30 can be listened to both physically and digitally.
