JAKARTA - Reza Rahadian became a supporting actor in the film Like Revenge, Rindu Must Be Paid Completely. He collided with Marthino Lio. The film won the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival.

"It feels like holding the Golden Leopard trophy cannot be expressed in words. Very proud," said Reza when met in South Jakarta, some time ago.

Reza plays the character of Budi Baik, who is a supporting character in "Like Revenge, Rindu Must Be Paid Completely". He admitted that he had no concerns in taking on roles other than the main character (protagonist) in a film.

"I don't have that insecurity as long as I like the character I will play. I respect the opportunities that exist and respect the existing characters. I am lucky to be trusted in this film," he said.

Meanwhile, the main character, Marthino Lio as Ajo Kawir, said this was a completely new experience for him.

"It is a new experience for me, and everything is very mature from acting, dialogue, language... And the hardest homework is when we talk about you-me, standard language, song language, but how do I not feel foreign," said Martino.

"And when I'm on set, I feel like I'm already in the story," he added.

"Like Revenge, Longing Must Be Paid Completely" tells the story of Ajo Kawir, a hero who is not afraid to die. His great desire to fight is fueled by a secret — he is impotent.

When faced with a formidable female fighter named Iteung, Ajo is battered and turned upside down — he falls in love. Will Ajo live a happy life with Iteung and, in the end, make peace with him? The film with a rating of 18+ (adults only) will be shown in Indonesian cinemas starting December 2.
