No Winwin And Lucas At NCT 2021 Comeback, Fans Ask For Clarification

JAKARTA - K-pop group NCT will carry out their annual comeback in the 2021 NCT project. Several mysterious teasers have been released through their official social media since November 12.

Monday, November 15 night South Korea time, NCT uploaded the first teaser poster featuring all NCT members standing. Unfortunately when counted, only 21 people participated.

NCT fans called NCTzen found Winwin and Lucas not included in the 2021 NCT line-up. Both are members of the WayV group which is also included in the NCT unit group.

Fans began to question the clarification regarding Winwin and Lucas who were absent from the group's comeback.

In October, Winwin was announced to be an actor in the production of a Chinese drama titled The Shadow. Currently, he is still filming in China until production is complete.

Meanwhile, Lucas is still on a vacuum after the gaslighting scandal that dragged his name last August. However, until now, SM Entertainment's agency has not revealed when he will return.

Fans feel it's unfair because Ten, an NCT member who is in China, is seen still following the comeback and is in the teaser. They suspect whether Winwin and Lucas get different treatment from the agency.

Winwin's name has also been on the trending topic of social media since the teaser was released. They are still asking for clarification from SM Entertainment.

“No Winwin and Lucas. No new members. So what is NCT 2021 made for?” said one fan.

"Why only 21? It's really sad that there's no Winwin and Lucas," said another.

"SM Entertainment should clarify what they are doing," said the netizen.

NCT 2021's newest album titled Universe will be released on December 14, 2021.
