3 Reasons Paranoia Considers A Special Film By Nirina Zubir

JAKARTA - Miles Films is ready to return to the cinema with a new film called Paranoia. This film features actress Nirina Zubir as the main character, namely Dina.

Even though she often plays movies, Nirina admits that Paranoia is a special film for her. Starting from the character to the final process, the 41-year-old woman admitted that she was proud to be able to work in this film.

“One of the reasons Nirina accepted Dina's character. The character from the first time I read it wow. The characters are really challenging, right," said Nirina Zubir at Epicentrum XXI on Thursday, November 4.

In Paranoia, Nirina Zubir plays Dina, a mother who lives with her child, Laura (played by Caitlin North-Lewis). They run away from their father, Gion (Lukman Sardi).

In addition, Paranoia is Miles Films' first work in the thriller genre and was produced in the midst of a pandemic.

"What is special, this is, Miles is making a film and we are together in bubble production, so staying active, staying productive during the pandemic, that's special. And being entrusted with being Dina I feel like reborn," said Nirina.

The name Nirina Zubir has also been in Riri Riza's shadow when working on Paranoia players. Nirina also uses her time and energy to join in this film.

Furthermore, Nirina interprets that Paranoia is not just a film during a pandemic, but there are big issues that many people encounter in their daily lives.

"This is a film that marks the times, you will forever remember this time (the Covid-19 pandemic), what happened in this film can really happen to someone. Second, the feeling of, is someone facing something like this, while we are busy with ourselves. ourselves," he said.
