RSHS President Director Rachim Dinata Marsidi said the sanctions given were a first warning letter (SP1) and deactivation from direct service to patients.

"The nurse was deactivated, transferred to a section that does not serve patients and given SP1," said Rachim in Bandung, Friday.

He added that the hospital was also ready to undergo an evaluation from the Ministry of Health regarding the incident.

According to him, the management of RSHS has reported the incident to the Ministry of Health as a form of institutional responsibility.

In addition, RSHS will conduct a thorough evaluation of all nursing staff to prevent similar incidents from occurring again.

Rachim emphasized that the training would focus on compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP), especially in the process of handing over babies to parents.
