JAKARTA Senior actress Donna Harun shared her personal experience as a grandmother who is actively involved in her grandchildren' lives. In her social media uploads, she revealed how her son-in-law, Herfiza Novianti, always provides space for her to build closeness with her grandchildren through various activities, including school pick-up.

Donna Harun wrote about her daily interactions with Ricky Harun's wife, who often asked her to help drop off and pick up grandchildren.

"What are you doing? Ma is at home? Can you please pick up the school children? Can you leave the children at home for 2 hours or not?" Donna wrote imitating the way her son-in-law communicated with her, quoted by VOI from the @donnaharunofficial Instagram account on Friday, February 7.

Instead of feeling burdened, Donna actually expressed her happiness at the request. He felt that his presence as a mother-in-law was truly appreciated and needed in the family.

"If nothing goes wrong with my @herfiza, it's like I'm an useless rich mother-in-law," he said jokingly.

Furthermore, Donna said that Herfiza always tried to get her involved in the lives of her grandchildren, not only playing, but also in various other activities that strengthen their relationship.

"Fazza always gives me space as a grandmother so that I can bond with my grandchildren with other activities besides playing," he said.

The trust and appreciation that Herfiza gave to Donna as the grandmother of her children made Donna feel even more appreciated. He realized that not all in-laws had similar opportunities to be close to their grandchildren.
