TNI Deploys Hercules Aircraft and KRI to Handle Earthquake-Affected Residents in NTT

JAKARTA - The Indonesian National Army (TNI) immediately deployed personnel to the earthquake disaster-affected areas in Nagekeo Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The TNI also prepared supporting forces and facilities to accelerate the distribution and mobilization of personnel and logistics, namely by preparing Hercules aircraft and KRI. Their use is adjusted to the needs and development of the situation on the ground. An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 struck the East Nusa Tenggara region on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
