MNC Studios, The Production House Of Hary Tanoesoedibjo's Love Bonds Conglomerate, Collaborates With Garena To Hold Free Fire Competition

JAKARTA - PT MNC Studios International Tbk (MSIN), a subsidiary of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN), has reached an agreement with Singapore's leading online game developer and publisher, PT Garena Indonesia, to produce Free Fire Master League Div 1 (FFML) Season IV and Free Fire Indonesia Masters (FFIM) 2021 which will be broadcast on various distribution networks belonging to the group through MNCN TV FTA, GTV and its super-app, RCTI+.

Both platforms have the best experience in broadcasting events related to E-Sports in Indonesia, because since 2019 they have successfully organized several leading professional competitions, as well as successful talent search programs.

The participants will compete to play the game Garena Free Fire, a battle royale game that has been downloaded by more than 1 billion gamers worldwide. It is estimated that FFML Season IV will air from August 21 to October 2, 2021 and the best 6 teams will compete in the playoffs, known as FFIM 2021, on October 16 and October 24, 2021.

All production activities will be carried out in the group's studio complex and the final event will be broadcast at Studio RCTI+ in Kebon Jeruk. In addition to the E-Sports competition, the agreement with Garena also includes a blocking program, for the Free Fire 4th Anniversary event which will also be produced by the special gaming division of MNC Studios, PT Esports Star Indonesia (ESI) and will be broadcast live via RCTI and RCTI+.
