Prospective Passengers At Kualanamu Airport Must Download PeduliLindungi Application

JAKARTA - Every prospective passenger at Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra is required to download the PeduliLindung application.

"The implementation is in accordance with the Circular Letter of the Minister of Health Number HK.02.01/MENKES/847/2021 concerning the Digitization of Health Documents for Air Transport Users who are Integrated with the Cares for Protection Application," said Executive General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura II Kualanamu, Heriyanto Wibowo, quoted from Antara, Monday August 2nd.

He mentioned that the digital validation of flight documents will be applied to all prospective passengers at Kualanamu Airport starting on Sunday, August 1, 2021. The digitalization of flight document validation related to health documents is a Vaccine Certificate and COVID-19 Test Results, namely RT-PCR and RT-Antigen. .

"This is done to make it easier for prospective passengers to travel in the digital era and to strengthen health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.

Heriyanto hopes that all prospective passengers will support and implement the provisions of the Decree of the Minister of Health Number HK.02.01/MENKES/847/2021 by downloading PeduliLindungi.

In addition, prospective airplane passengers are required to carry out a COVID-19 test, in 742 laboratories that are integrated with the Ministry of Health's New All Record (NAR) data, the results of which will be directly uploaded to the CaresLindung application.

"There are about 34 laboratories in North Sumatra Province that are affiliated with the Ministry of Health according to the Circular Letter of the Minister of Health Number 4642/2021 concerning the Organization of the COVID-19 Examination Laboratory," he said.

He added that the PeduliLindung application can prevent falsification of travel documents, and PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Kualanamu Airport as an airport operator is obliged to ensure flight safety, security and comfort for all prospective passengers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
