Non-subsidized LPG Prices Down, Pertamina Patra Niaga Cuts Bright Gas Prices

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga lowered the price of Bright Gas non-subsidized LPG starting Saturday, August 15. The adjustment applies to Bright Gas sizes of 5.5 kg and 12 kg, with a price reduction of up to Rp. 2,000 per tube.

For the Java Island area, the price of Bright Gas 12 kg decreased from Rp. 220,000 to Rp. 218,000 per tube. Meanwhile, the price of Bright Gas 5.5 kg decreased from Rp. 103,000 to Rp. 102,000 per tube.

VP Corporate Communication Pertamina Patra Niaga Kitty Andhora said that the price adjustment was part of the company's periodic evaluation to provide non-subsidized LPG at competitive prices for the public.

"The adjustment of Bright Gas prices is carried out through periodic evaluations by considering various factors that affect market conditions and still refer to the applicable mechanism," said Kitty in a statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara.

The price is the selling price of Bright Gas agents in the Java Island area which is effective starting August 15, 2026. The price in other regions may differ according to applicable provisions. Kitty emphasized that Pertamina Patra Niaga still maintains the quality of Bright Gas even though it adjusts the price.

According to him, the company wants the public to continue to obtain safe, practical, and quality LPG to meet household needs, at the same time with more competitive prices.

In addition to lowering prices, Pertamina Patra Niaga presents the Semarak Merdeka MyPertamina discount program during the period of 15-23 August 2026. The program is valid for the purchase of Bright Gas 5.5 kg and Bright Gas 12 kg refills directly at Bright Store or online purchases through the Klik Indomaret application and website.

The promo can be used without a minimum purchase and is valid for all payment methods. During the promo period, consumers who buy Bright Gas 5.5 kg refills get a discount of Rp. 4,050 per tube. Meanwhile, buying Bright Gas 12 kg refills gets a discount of Rp. 8,100 per tube.
