JAKARTA - The Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning (PKP) received a Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian (WTP) opinion from the Financial Audit Agency (BPK).

Minister of PKP Maruarar Sirait or Ara said that the achievement of WTP was an incentive for all its ranks to continue to improve integrity, transparency and accountability in the management of state finances.

"Please pray that this achievement will be a source of inspiration for us to continue to work better. In the future, we will further maintain integrity, become more transparent and ensure that every program runs correctly in terms of administration and procedures and truly provides real benefits for the community," said Ara quoted from a written statement, Wednesday, August 5.

Ara said the Ministry of PKP is a new ministry that is still building institutions. He said, his ministry's office has grown from one to six offices in a year.

According to him, the ranks of the Ministry of PKP also come from various backgrounds, including the Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Finance, local governments, the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and a number of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).

"Although this ministry is still new with various backgrounds of different employees, we are grateful that today we have a Wajar Without Exception opinion," he said.

He said, support and trust in the Ministry of PKP also increased. This can be seen from the ministry's budget which has increased from Rp. 5 trillion in 2025 to Rp. 12.5 trillion this year.

In 2026, the home surgery program also received a budget allocation of around IDR 8.3 trillion. The government also strengthened the housing financing scheme through the Housing Program Credit (KPP) which reached IDR 50 trillion and increased the quota for the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) to 350,000 units.

In addition, support for the housing sector is also strengthened through the Bank Indonesia (BI) Minimum Mandatory Giro (GWM) policy.

Furthermore, Ara said, the results of the BPK examination became a trigger for the Ministry of PKP to work more carefully and maintain integrity and trust.

"The WTP opinion should not be seen as the ultimate goal. This achievement should be a foothold to improve the quality of governance while ensuring housing programs run according to rules and are targeted," he said.

With the support of an increasingly large budget, the Ministry of PKP is committed to maintaining integrity and transparency in every stage of program implementation.

Strengthening governance is expected to ensure that state funds are actually used to build decent, quality, and affordable housing for the community.

The achievement of WTP's opinion on the 2025 financial statements is also an opportunity for the Ministry of PKP to improve the quality of financial management while responding to the government's trust through the implementation of increasingly effective and accountable housing programs.
