In Front of the President, the Minister of PKP Appreciates the CEO of BTN as the Highest Subsidized Mortgage Provider

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning (PKP) Maruarar Sirait appreciates the leadership of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) in distributing national subsidized Home Ownership Loans (KPR). The appreciation was conveyed in the Mass Akad 62.710 KPR Sejahtera FLPP led by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto in Batang Regency, Central Java, Thursday, July 30.

"Then the CEO of BTN, Mr. Nixon for the highest subsidized house of BTN. I can report to Mr. President that the BTN subsidized house is the highest (distribution of financing). Thank you Mr. Nixon," explained Maruar Sirait.

On the same occasion, President Prabowo Subianto in his remarks emphasized that housing is a very vital need for the community. The President encourages all stakeholders to strengthen collaboration so that more people can have decent and affordable homes.

In this activity, BTN became the bank with the largest number of participants. A total of 30,203 BTN debtors participated in the contract both directly and online from various regions in Indonesia.

BTN President Director Nixon L.P. Napitupulu said that this achievement was the result of the synergy of the increasingly strong housing ecosystem, including Danantara Indonesia's support in strengthening collaboration between the government, BP Tapera, banks, and developers.

"The appreciation from the Minister of PKP is an encouragement for BTN to continue to carry out its mandate as the leader of national housing financing. Together with Danantara Indonesia, we continue to strengthen the collaboration of the ecosystem so that more people can access decent, affordable, and quality homes," said Nixon.

As of July 29, 2026, based on exposure to the Ministry of PKP, BTN has disbursed 55,766 units of FLPP mortgages, the highest among Himbara banks. Meanwhile, PT Bank Syariah Nasional (BSN) recorded the disbursement of 28,282 units. On a consolidated basis, BTN and BSN have disbursed 84,048 subsidized housing units throughout 2026.

According to Nixon, BTN's leadership in financing people's homes is not only realized through the distribution of mortgages to the public, but also through strengthening the supply side. As of July 29, 2026, the realization of BTN's Housing Program Credit (KPP) has reached around IDR 4.39 trillion to support developers, contractors, building materials stores, and other business actors in the housing supply chain.

BTN also continues to strengthen digital services through Properti balé, so that people can find houses, do installment simulations, and apply for mortgages more easily in one ecosystem.

"We want people's journey to their first home to be simpler, from finding the right housing to obtaining financing. Therefore, BTN continues to strengthen financing, accelerate services, and expand collaboration so that the 3 Million House Program can run faster and have a wide impact," said Nixon.

This year's Sejahtera FLPP mass KPR contract is the largest since it was first held. BP Tapera noted that the activity involved 62,710 debtors in 372 regencies/cities in 36 provinces, reflecting the increasingly strong collaboration between the government and the banking industry in accelerating the provision of houses for low-income people.
