JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) recorded outstanding online loan financing (pinjol) reaching Rp. 105.14 trillion in June 2026 or grew 25.88 percent year on year (year on year/yoy).

"In the online lending industry, outstanding financing in June 2026 grew 25.88 percent (year-on-year) with a value of IDR 105.14 trillion," said the Head of the Oversight of Financing Institutions, Ventura Capital Company, Micro Finance Institutions, and Other Financial Services Institutions (PVML) OJK Agusman in a Press Conference, Tuesday, August 4.

Along with the increase in financing, OJK noted that the aggregate non-performing loan risk rate or the 90-day-plus delinquency rate (TWP90) was at 4.26 percent in June 2026.

Agusman said the seven organizers had submitted action plans to the OJK to meet capital requirements and efforts taken, including through capital additions from existing shareholders, finding strategic investors, and mergers.

To strengthen industry compliance, Agusman said OJK had also imposed administrative sanctions during June 2026 on a number of business actors in the PVML sector.

"During June 2026, OJK has imposed administrative sanctions, among others, on 21 financing companies, 8 venture capital companies, and 39 pindar organizers for violations committed against applicable POJK, as well as the results of supervision and/or follow-up inspections," he said.
