Anutin said Indonesia is currently Thailand's fourth largest trading partner in ASEAN. However, according to him, with the size of the two countries' economies, the position should be able to rise.

In return, Thailand wants to increase imports of urea fertilizer from Indonesia.
"We want to increase the import of urea fertilizer from Indonesia," said Anutin.
"We hope that the import volume, which is currently around 60,000 tons per year, can increase to several hundred thousand tons every year," he said.
Anutin also touched on fisheries cooperation. He hopes that Indonesia and Thailand will soon finalize a draft joint communique regarding the eradication of Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing or IUU Fishing.
