Bappisus Watches MBG to Kopdes, Aries Says Barriers to Prabowo Program Continue to be Evaluated

JAKARTA - The Special Development and Investigation Control Agency or Bappisus is involved in overseeing the implementation of President Prabowo Subianto's strategic programs. Evaluations are carried out on technical obstacles that can interfere with the benefits of the program to the community.

Head of Bappisus Aries Marsudiyanto said that supervision includes the Free Nutritious Meal Program or MBG, the National Nutrition Agency, the Red and White Village Cooperative, to the Fishing Village.

"Mr. President always launches strategic programs. Of course there are many obstacles and technical disruptions. It is always evaluated," said Aries at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Thursday, July 23.

According to Aries, Prabowo periodically evaluates the program by involving relevant ministries and agencies.

Bappisus was formed to control the implementation of development as well as handle special investigations. However, Aries did not explain the form of supervision or findings that his agency had obtained from these programs.

He said the evaluation was directed so that government policies did not stop at the launch and could be felt by the community in various regions.

"In principle, how the strategic program of the President can be reached and directly felt by all Indonesian people. Development equalization," he said.

Aries said that cross-ministry coordination was needed because each program had different implementers and technical issues.

He did not elaborate on the specific role of Bappisus in the limited meeting with Prabowo. Aries only said that strategic program evaluations were carried out at all times.
