JAKARTA - PT Danantara Investment Management (DIM), through its subsidiary PT Daya Energi Bersih Nusantara (Denera), opens registration for financing institutions to join the Lenders Panel for the Danantara Waste to Energy (PSEL) Project, in line with Indonesia's efforts to accelerate investment in sustainable waste management infrastructure in various cities and/or districts.

This Panel of Lenders was formed to create a diverse group of potential lenders and financing partners to support the PSEL project pipeline across Indonesia. PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance ("IIF") has been appointed as the Financial Advisor to coordinate the registration process and information gathering from potential lenders on behalf of DIM/Denera.

Through this Lenders Panel, DIM/Denera aims to identify financial institutions that have financial capacity, experience in infrastructure financing, and strategic interest to support the PSEL program. Prospective lenders will be asked to convey their financing interests, both at the portfolio level and individual projects. This information will help DIM/Denera in measuring the potential financing capacity and exploring the appropriate financing structure, including debt sources, non-cash facilities, and various other financing solutions before the start of the formal financing process.

This invitation is open to various financing institutions, including commercial banks, HIMBARA banks, Regional Development Banks (BPD), development financing institutions, multilateral institutions, export credit agencies, and other financial institutions that have the ability to provide, arrange, or support infrastructure financing.

Denera's Chief Financial Officer, M. Ramadhan Harahap (Idhan) said, his party invited all financial institutions that have an interest and experience in infrastructure financing to participate in the Denera Lenders Panel.

"This initiative will open up opportunities for lenders to be involved from the start in the development of PSEL project financing, which will be an important part of waste management transformation and sustainable development in Indonesia," he said in a written statement, Wednesday, July 22.

Participating institutions are welcome to express their interest in providing or arranging various financing instruments, including senior loans, junior and subordinated loans, equity or equity-based instruments, bridging loans, equity bridging facilities, bank guarantees, standby letters of credit, performance bonds, trade finance, mezzanine or hybrid structures, sustainability-linked financing, financing supported by ECA or MDB, as well as other financing solutions relevant to the development and implementation of the PSEL project pipeline in Indonesia.

Registration

Interested institutions can register their interest through the official channel at [email protected]. IIF will assist prospective participants in the registration process, including the delivery of necessary information and the implementation of applicable confidentiality arrangements. The registration period will be open until July 28, 2026.
